Me and John, Part 4.

I see John's car drive up and my grandmother is sitting on the couch waiting to lecture him with my brother.

He rings the doorbell and my brother opens the door.

"Your John, correct?" Alex says.

"Yeah, your name is?" John replies.

"Alex, Skye's brother. And don't test me."

"Okay....."

He walks inside and I am wearing a light pink dress with ruffles on the shoulders.

John smiles at me.

"So you are letting her join your band?" Grandma asks.

"Yes, The Quarrymen, we are going to change the name soon.

"How are your grades?" Alex asks.

"I have a B in math and A- in Science and the other subjects are also B's." John says.

"Have you ever hit a girl in your life?" Alex asks.

"Never have, Never will."

The lecture ends and we go out a small restaurant

"What do ye want?" He asks.

"We can split a malt, or we can get some tea." I reply.

"Why did you want to talk to me?" John asks.

"To get to know you, I don't like strangers."

"Me neither, I bet that might be the only thing we might have in common." John says.

"Really? Do you like Elvis? Guitar? The Hunchback Of Notre Dame? Books? Chuck Berry?"

"All of them except of The Hunchback, haven't read that one." He replies.

"Oh god I have to give you a copy!"

We finish dinner and sit in the car for a while.

"I might like you for a brunette." He says.

We look at each other and leans in kisses me passionately.
